In most cases, booking ferries tickets through our engine provides Instant Confirmation. However, on some cruise lines in Asia or Greece, the confirmation process may take between 30 minutes and 24 hours. Once your booking is confirmed, you will be sent an e-voucher to your email with all the details of your cruise.

It depends on the shipping company. In 90% of cases you can present an “E-ticket” with a QR code directly from your mobile phone. However, there are specific ports where local laws require you to go to the cruise line’s counter at the port and exchange the voucher you received by email for a physical paper boarding pass. The exact information will appear on your booking confirmation.

The cancellation policy is determined by the ferry operator and not by us. When comparing ferry prices in the system, you can see under “Ticket conditions” whether it can be cancelled or changed. Tip from us: On busy cruise lines, it is recommended to choose a ticket with a flexible change option, as schedules may change due to weather conditions at sea.

For regular passengers (without a car), it is recommended to arrive at the port at least 45 to 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time. If you have booked a ferry that includes a rental car, you should arrive at least 90 minutes in advance to allow for vehicle inspection and smooth boarding.

One of the biggest advantages of booking ferry tickets is the flexibility regarding luggage. Most shipping companies do not have a rigid weight limit like low-cost flights, and you can bring 1-2 large suitcases at no extra charge. However, if you are traveling with unusual equipment (surfboards, bicycles), this should be noted when booking.
