How do you activate it, what are the steps?
First - Purchase an eSIM
Search in the row above, select the eSIM package that suits your destination and needs (browsing volume, validity).
Step Two - Install the eSIM (recommended before traveling, in Israel) There are several ways to install
Direct: Through the app, follow the instructions that appear on the screen. This method is usually the simplest.
QR code: Scan the QR code you received when purchasing.
Manual: Enter the eSIM information (SM-DP+ address and activation code) in the device's cellular settings.
Step Three - Activation and Use (to be done after landing at your destination)
Important: Make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection during installation.
Follow AIRALO's instructions for installation.
Once you land at your destination, activate your eSIM in your device's cellular settings.
In most cases, your eSIM will automatically connect to a supported network.
You may need to enable "Data Roaming" in your eSIM settings.
On Android devices, you may need to set up an APN (Access Point Name). The APN details will be provided in the AIRALO setup instructions.
It is recommended that you turn off your primary SIM line to avoid roaming charges from your local carrier.
If you are using an iPhone, make sure that the "Send & Receive" settings are set to both your primary phone number and your iCloud address.
Important Notes:
Make sure your device supports eSIM and is not locked to a specific mobile network.
It is highly recommended to install the eSIM before your trip, while you are still in Israel and connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. After landing at your destination, all you have to do is activate the eSIM in your device settings.
Some eSIM packages may be activated immediately after installation, regardless of your location. Check the activation policy of your eSIM.
